In this article, we explain what happens if you pay your Pay in 3 instalments late or do not pay them at all.
Three days before the direct debit, you will receive a reminder from us. This lets you know that an amount will soon be collected from your account.
If the direct debit fails or you do not pay on time, you will receive an email and an app notification with a payment link. At this stage, no additional costs are charged.
A missed instalment will be added to the next instalment. If you pay the outstanding amount before the next due date, no collection costs will be charged.
If the payment remains unpaid, the outstanding amount may increase. If the payment has not been received after 90 days, collection costs will be charged.
If the outstanding balance is not settled, your Pay in 3 account will be transferred to our debt collection agency, Riverty Services Netherlands B.V. It is important to contact them as soon as possible to arrange a payment plan. In addition to collection costs, the agency may also charge statutory interest. You can also set up a payment arrangement yourself via the consumer portal of the debt collection agency.
