This article will tell you more about the consequences if you can no longer pay your Flex credit.
If a payment fails
- In that case, we will notify you by email with a payment reminder
- Make sure you have enough money before the next payment date
- You can always transfer the arrears yourself via bank transfer
- If two consecutive payments fail:
- We will report this to Bureau Krediet Registratie (BKR)
- Your Flex account will be put on inactive status until the missed payments are paid.
- If several consecutive payments fail:
- The credit will be claimed. This means you have to pay the credit amount in one go
- We will report this to BKR again
- Is your credit eventually terminated with the payment obligation remaining
- We engage our collection agency to collect the credit from you
In case of financial difficulties
- You can lower your monthly amount in the app.
- A lower monthly amount ensures that you pay more interest over time
- Is there a problematic debt situation that prevents you from paying? If so, seek help in time from a debt relief agency or report to your local municipality. They can help you regain structure in your financial situation and help you pay off any debts.
